KnotWiz does not collect, store or share any data. Everything works locally on your device.
None. We do not collect personal information, usage data, device identifiers or location. Your knot favorites, calculator inputs and rope journal entries never reach us.
Because we collect nothing, we have nothing to use. The app uses the entries you make only to show your own favorites, calculations and rope records on your own screen.
Journal notes, favorites and settings are kept locally on your device only. There is no cloud storage, no server and no sync, which is also why the app works fully offline.
KnotWiz includes no analytics, advertising networks, social plug-ins or trackers, and it shares nothing with outside parties.
Your data stays within the app's local storage on your device and is protected by your device's own security, such as a passcode or biometrics. We recommend keeping your device updated and locked.
Since we collect no personal information from anyone, including children under 13, the app is consistent with COPPA principles. Younger users should practice knots with an adult, especially around real loads.
You are in charge. No account is needed, and you can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling KnotWiz.
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above. Our commitment to collecting no data will not change quietly.
